Write Your Book with AI
From Idea to Publication: A Practical Method for Novels and Guides
How do you take a book from idea to publication with AI's help, without losing control of what goes out under your name?
"Write Your Book with AI" is a method for directing a book — a novel or a technical guide — from idea to publication. You say what you want, agree on a plan, give guidance on voice, ask for a chapter, have it reviewed, and decide whether to approve it. AI assistants work in the book's folder: they keep files, context, and versions in order, and run the checks.
You don't need to code, and you don't need to know Markdown or Git: basic computer skills are enough, and setup happens once. Novelists and technical-book authors get equal space, with short examples where the criteria genuinely differ. The examples come from the real work on this very guide, in short, self-contained excerpts. It will come out in Italian and English, as an ebook and in print.
By the end of the book, you'll know how to:
- Turn an idea, or a stalled draft, into a clear request: audience, promise, and how much to delegate
- Set the rules once and have them picked up again in every new session, with separate roles for the writer and the reviewer
- Describe your voice with observable guidance, without building a clone
- Ask for a chapter, understand what the assistant hands back, and tell a well-grounded review note from a mere preference
- Get a stalled book moving, recover an earlier version, and decide on the package for publishing on Amazon KDP
No promises of bestsellers or income: the AI writes and checks, but you read, decide, and sign off. The method exists to help you do that part well.
